About Noise Remover
Noise Remover is made by Codeur d'Ivoire. We build tools that do one job well, on your phone, without asking for your data.
Why we built it
Most voices published today are recorded on a phone: next to a fan, in the street, in the wind, at a desk with a keyboard. The apps that clean them often upload the file to a server, ask for an account, count minutes, add a watermark, or wait until the cleaning is done to ask you to pay before you can save it.
We wanted the opposite: a cleaner that runs on the phone itself, works offline, lets you hear exactly what changed and choose how much, and lets you save the result for free. That is Noise Remover.
How we work
- On the device. The noise is removed on your phone, and your audio is never uploaded.
- Honest about limits. We publish what the app does not do, and the measurements behind what it does: how it works.
- No tricks. No fake reviews, no countdowns, no watermark, no file held back to make you pay.
- Fair free tier. What is free stays useful; Pro is for comfort.
Open source inside
Noise Remover stands on open-source work, and credits it: RNNoise by Xiph.Org, the neural network that removes the noise (BSD licence); the Speex resampler, also by Xiph.Org (BSD licence); and libebur128 for loudness measurement (MIT licence).
MP3 files are encoded by LAME 3.100, under the GNU Library General Public License (LGPL), version 2 or later. It ships unmodified, as a separate library the app links to dynamically; its source is at lame.sourceforge.io, and the exact release the app is built from at SourceForge.
